Annual Summits
The mission of Our Kids is to create a community where youth have the opportunity to develop into healthy, productive citizens.
Our vision is to coordinate and strengthen the preventative, intervention and treatment initiatives of today to ensure the future of youth in our community.
Our goals include:
- Establishing the Search Institute’s 40 Developmental Assets for youth as the common vocabulary and framework for youth interactions in our community
- Engaging community partners to advance asset-building for all youth, reducing child abuse/neglect and juvenile delinquency
- Serving as a community board for youth programs and grants that require oversight
