Pregnant Women's Program

Bauer’s Pregnant Women’s Program provides soon-to-be moms in Tippecanoe County with support and educational experiences. These aim to promote the health and well-being of mom and baby through the baby's first six weeks of life.

This free, year-round program offers regular pre-natal education and support from Bauer’s specially trained home visitor. Women enrolled in the program learn the dos and don’ts of carrying out a healthy pregnancy and are taught to understand the connection between their changing bodies and the growth of their unborn child.

When the baby celebrates its sixth week of life, mom and baby are automatically enrolled in one of our two Early Head Start infant-toddler programs. At this point, families participate in Bauer’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and elect representatives to Bauer’s Policy Council.
